The Pomodoro Technique is a time-management method built around focused 25-minute work blocks separated by 5-minute breaks. After every four blocks, take a longer 15–30 minute break. The method works because it converts an open-ended task into a series of concrete, time-boxed commitments — eliminating the paralysis of perfectionism and providing built-in rest before fatigue sets in.
VClock's timer includes a one-tap 25-minute Pomodoro preset. Start a session, put your phone face-down, and work until the chord plays. The visual ring means you never need to glance at a number to know roughly how much time is left.
Beyond Pomodoro, a countdown timer is useful for cooking, classroom tests, meeting agendas, workout rest intervals, and presentation rehearsals. The quick-set presets cover the most common durations, and any custom value can be typed in seconds. No account needed — just open the tab and start counting.
